Are you a psychologist or psychology graduate looking to make a difference in the lives of young people?

With more than 550 school psychologists working in metropolitan, country and remote public schools, the Department of Education is the biggest employer of psychologists in Western Australia. We are also a growing service and seeking to recruit more than 100 additional psychologists to provide support for students and promote positive mental health.

  • Confirmed starting salary from $79,364 a year.
  • Psychology Board of Australia approved supervision to support the completion of your internship program.
  • Graduate School Psychologist Induction Program, a two-year program of professional learning.

You are considered eligible for the Graduate School Psychologist Pool if you are in your first two years of employment in a school psychologist role, even if you have experience as a psychologist elsewhere.
