John Paul College invites applications from suitably qualified Counsellors / Psychologist for the position of Head of Counselling Services (non teaching role).  The Head of Counselling Services is responsible for providing support to the wellbeing team and coordinating the work of all student counsellors.

Working closely with the Deputy Principal – Wellbeing the Head of Counselling Services will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating counselling services for the College
  • Providing individual student counselling and guidance.
  • Developing and implementing group programs and activities.
  • Maintaining and developing effective collaboration with external agencies.
  • Consulting with the Wellbeing team regarding specific cases.

This is a full time, ongoing position which will commence in January 2024.
