About headspace
headspace provides early intervention mental health services to 12–25-year-olds. headspace can help young people with mental health, physical health (including sexual health) alcohol and other drug services, and work and study support.
About the Opportunity
As a private practitioner you will deliver effective, evidence-based interventions to young people and their families experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems. Private practitioners will maintain high quality counselling, assessment, and screening skills (inclusive of clinical risk and first episode psychosis) through provision of direct service delivery.
The minimum qualification required is an approved tertiary qualification and minimum 3 years’ experience in a health-related discipline and registration with the relevant regulatory body such as AHPRA or membership of and adherence to professional standards, for example AASW for social workers.
