Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Community Services or similar
- Substantial work experience in child and adolescent mental health settings
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical models and experience in providing both operational support and clinical supervision for clinical teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including change management skills and performance management skills.
- Demonstrated experience and competence working with vulnerable groups, including those who identify as LGBTIQA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Demonstrate understanding of Youth Mental Health and clinical services delivered to young people including Early Psychosis, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, physical and sexual health and Substance use issues
- Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and review of Clinical Governance Models and practice guidelines, operational and financial plans
- Demonstrated experience working with and alongside a range of services and stakeholders that relate to all domains considerate of a young person
- Specific knowledge of child and adolescent development, substance use and associated sectors.
- An understanding of and commitment to Child Protection legislation and OH&S principles
- Knowledge and understanding the management of financial budgets
Desirable:
- Eligibility for membership of relevant professional association or membership of registration body or working towards same
