About headspaceheadspace is a free and confidential service that assists eligible young people aged 12 to 25 with their mental health and wellbeing. headspace encompasses headspace Primary, headspace Early Psychosis and an Enhanced Care service.

About the Position

As the Clinician you will have the opportunity to provide support to young people from initial contact with headspace through to providing ongoing therapeutic intervention according to best practice standards. The headspace Clinician will be skilled at assessing the needs of young people, including complex risk assessments and collaborative safety and care planning. You will use your flexible approach to build positive rapports with young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds including young Aboriginal people, their family, and friends.

You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, working together to deliver community awareness, information sessions, outreach and group work where required.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current NT manual driver’s licence.

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
