At headspace 360 Mandurah we endeavour to ensure young people and their families who are seeking support are able to do so in the most coordinated, effective manner possible. This position is the initial point of clinical contact and provides assessment, triage, intervention, case management and clinical information coordination across the service and the wider headspace consortium.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- have experience in direct service provision to young people and their families with a strong understanding of effective principles of engagement, the issues and factors that influence mental health and well being, and the range of professionals within the youth sector
- have demonstrated experience of psychosocial assessment, triage and referral pathways
- be skilled in creating an environment that actively encourages young people to participate in decisions relating to their own care
- have high level communication skills to support an integrated care approach including by presenting assessment summaries at clinical meetings, agency liaison and shared case management of complex issues
- hold a recognised qualification in the provision of tertiary mental health services and AHPRA or AASW membership
- be willing to provide a current working with children check, COVID-19 vaccination certificate, and national police certificate if shortlisted
