About the opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Wellbeing Business Partner to join our Fonterra Co-Op. As a Wellbeing Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of a global mental health and wellbeing program focused on a psychosocial risk management framework for the Fonterra Co-op to ensure optimal uptake.

Work plays a significant role in peoples’ mental, physical, spiritual, and social mental health and wellbeing and therefore, we are looking for a passionate individual in this newly created role, who is looking make their mark and create a positive impact on our people. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Contribute to the development of the Global Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy, and the Mental Health Business Plan, that aligns with the Co-op vision and values, and that reflects a psychosocial risk and evidence-based approach
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and management of mental health and wellbeing initiatives/programs that support strategic key objectives.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Work closely with operational Health and Safety to deploy wellbeing solutions that support business outcomes. 
  • Provide health/wellbeing advice to the Co-op on a wide range of processes/practices at the local level.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the workforce including key stakeholders, current strategy, and safety metrics.

Please note this role is based in Melbourne, at our Richmond office. 

About You 

Ideally you will not just be passionate on the overall Wellbeing of our people, but will also have experience and knowledge in developing business plans, strategy and support the development and implementation of a psychosocial risk framework.

To make an impact in this role you will have: 

  • Relevant health and wellbeing qualifications such as Organisational/Health Psychology, Human Resources, or Occupational Health and Safety is ideal
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing workplace mental health and wellbeing programs specifically focused on a risk-based approach
  • High level communication skills, including producing quality project-related documentation, reports and briefings
  • An understanding of evidence-based risk management and health promotion
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills especially and at a diverse level
  • Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
  • Understanding of contemporary approaches to mental health
