As the Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing high quality clinical and welfare support to Student Living residents.

You will work closely with students to promote their overall wellbeing and personal development, providing support and care on matters affecting both academic performance, as well as living out of home and personal well-being.

This fixed term (until July ’24) position is a full time parental leave cover, and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land). 

How will you inspire us?

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in crisis management, including providing quality support to those in crisis and emergency situations.
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse case load.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and build relationships with individuals at all levels and ages.

What we offer

The remuneration for this position is from $107,800 to $125,767 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

  1. Experience utilising effective processes to triage and prioritise a high-volume workload and a large variety of requests and demands.
  2. Relevant training and substantial experience in evidence-based crisis management, or demonstrated high level clinical skills and experience in dealing effectively with people in crisis.
  3. Passionate about supporting young people with developing life skills and extensive experience in youth mental health including comprehensive assessment and knowledge of referral pathways.
  4. Demonstrated experience working both independently and in a team environment, with the ability to build relationships and engage in effective teamwork.
  5. Confident in proactive outreach and offering support and debriefs in group settings.
