- Classification: Consumer Service Delivery Level 3 with a salary range of $82,123 – $88,367 per annum + Superannuation

About your new role
Wellness Connect- Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program provides short term, flexible and recovery orientated psychosocial support focused on capacity building and connection. The program is delivered by a consortium of multiple NGO agencies across Adelaide with Neami National as the lead agency.
The Intake and Assessment Officers (IAO) will support the triage and assessment of referrals to Wellness Connect. The IAO will provide initial identification and assessment of individuals’ needs, as well as assist people requiring information about mental health challenges and appropriate services. The officer will have responsibility for undertaking an assessment using the Commonwealth’s Initial Assessment and Referral Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST),and work closely with the clinicians within the team to determine the level of need, and appropriateness for Wellness Connect.

What you will bring to the role?
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of mental health intake, assessment and supporting consumers with presenting mental health concerns.
- Engage consumers, using a strengths-based approach.
- Experience working with client information systems, maintaining accurate documentation and data collection.
- Uphold ethical behaviour, consistent with the values of honesty, fairness, responsibility and hope
- Demonstrate integrity, credibility and ability to foster open communication
