Intake and Brief Intervention Clinician Access Health and Community

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity

headspace Malvern is seeking a suitably qualified addition to the Intake team, to provide support to young people aged 12-25 years.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial intake & assessment, including risk
  • Assist with duty calls and referrals in /out of service
  • Providing evidence-based, Single Session or Brief Intervention support

 

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, youth work, welfare or health with a component of mental health discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an intake/mental health role within Youth, Community or Mental Health Services
