We deliver services across the ACT covering children, families, young people and seniors including disability, housing and mental health services.

OneLink (part of Woden Community Service) provides a holistic assessment of individuals seeking information and connections for support services in the ACT, including services for families and young people, and services for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

We are seeking enthusiastic and positive Intake and Engagement Officer to assist the program in undertaking holistic assessments for people seeking information and support through OneLink, Canberra’s central intake service. 

  • At OneLink you will support the program intake services through coordinating the different ways people contact the service. This includes phone services, email and online contact pathways. 
  • At OneLink you will support colleagues by assisting in administering rostering, informing work patterns and providing additional capacity for intake services.

Our Offer

  • Fixed term, part time (30 hours per week) appointment until 30 June 2024.
  • Salary of WCS 5 $82,326.30 to $86,647.79 (pro-rata) plus 11% superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience. 
  • Paid leave over the Christmas/New Year shut down period.
  • Salary packaging up to $15,899 per Fringe Benefits Tax year, with an additional Meals and Entertainment package available up to $2,650 per Fringe Benefits Tax year. 
  • 24/7 Nationally recognised Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including 3 holistic sessions (Nutritional, Financial and Legal).
  • Ongoing professional development and a supportive team environment.
  • Based at Belconnen with travel within ACT to provide outreach services.

Experience & Qualifications  

  • Certificate IV or higher qualifications and/or relevant experience in Social Work/Community Services/ Drug and Alcohol/ Disability/Mental Health. 
  • A proven ability to provide high-quality administrative support.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to enter data accurately in support of business processes and reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to engage with people in a sensitive and supportive manner.
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage a range of competing priorities.
