About the Role
- Full time, closed period contract until June 2024
- Salary from $76,938 base, plus super and access to generous salary packaging options
- Based in Wyong
This role will support the Youth and Homelessness team by providing client intakes and basic case management support to our clients who access our Doorways Hub.
Our clients are at risk of homelessness or who are homeless and often ‘drop in’ to access and receive continued support so there are elements of case work follow up that will be required in addition to intake responsibilities.
What you’ll be doing in this role;
- Respond to calls and walk ins at the Doorways Hub
- Undertake referrals and preliminary assessments using a person centred approach to determine eligibility of for our programs within the Youth and Homelessness service
- Complete basic case work; including case notes, assisting clients with apply for private and social housing and supporting with temporary accommodation
- Maintain data integrity including referral/intake registers, waitlists and exit registers
About you
- Minimum Diploma in Community Services
- Experience in administration/intake duties
- Ability to multitask and facilitate documentation in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge, experience and/or commitment to working with Aborginal/Torres Strait Islander/CALD people and communities
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and part of broader team
