Salary – $93,000 – $98,000 (depending on experience) + super + salary packaging

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Family Services Practitioner to work with a leading not for profit organisation in Bendigo. This role will provide direct case management supports to vulnerable families in the Loddon Mallee region. This is a full-time, fixed term postion unitl July 2024 (with potential to extend).
Key Duties:
- Provide child centred, family focussed case management to families
- Undertake thorough assesments and ensure delivery of high quality service to clients, in accordance with the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders
- Participate and contribute to case consultation meetings
- Coordinate internal and external case assesments, planning and review processes as required
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant qualification in Social Work, Child Development or other related field
- Experience working in a Family Services Program (minimum 12 months)
- Demonstrated understanding of child development and the issues affecting vulnerable children and families
- High level assesment and case management skills
- Experience working with complex and culturally diverse families
- Sound knowledge of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and policies relating to family and child protection services
You will also need to be willing to profide 2x professional references + undergo a Working with Children Check and Police Check.
