About the role

We have an opportunity for an Intensive Case Manager to join our Youth and Homelessness team on a full-time basis for 12 months.

This role will engage with families to identify risks and create safety plans and provide direct in-home support, education and counselling. You’ll also assist families in developing their knowledge, skills and confidence to access resources and networks to enhance family functioning.

About you

You’ll have a passion for engaging with families and children to prevent them coming into the child protection system. Along with this you’ll also need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Services
  • Experience working with families and young people
  • Ability to decision-make in complex family systems
  • Experience developing and delivery case plans
  • Strong understanding of children’s development needs including development issues, trauma and impacts of grief and loss
  • Drivers License
  • Working with Children Check
  • COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
