Kummara and Infinity Community Solutions known as KICS have been working in partnership for 6 years providing support to children, young people and families through Secondary Family Support and Kinship and Foster Care services and now through Intensive Family Support.
KICS will be operating two (2) Intensive Family Support services – one in Brisbane South/Southwest and one in Caboolture.
About the Service:
The Intensive Family Support (IFS) program supports families experiencing multiple and/or complex needs with children unborn to 18 years of age who may be at risk of entering the statutory child protection system without support. The aim of IFS services is to provide intensive and extended, but time limited, in-home support to improve family functioning and safety for children by building the skills and capacity of parents/caregivers to a level that can be sustained by less intensive and more universally available services.
About the roles:
We are recruiting for multiple roles to fill both services including Managers (x2), Senior Practitioners and Family Support Practitioners.
