The Role
This role is in our wonderful Nambour DES office. We are looking for an exceptional Mental Health Focused Job Coach who is committed to managing a diverse case load of clients build confidence and find employment. We are looking for someone that is committed to making a difference in our clients life… This could be you!
Please note that this current position is a full time contract until the 30th June, 2023 with the view to extend.

Your Responsibilities include:
- Working alongside mental health treating teams and professionals to help clients gain and maintain employment.
- Attend facilities and work along side Social Workers and other allied health professionals.
- Empowering our clients by providing supports in resume and cover letter writing, interview training and job carving.
- Reverse marketing and cold calling potential employers to secure interviews for clients.
- Engage with and refer clients to other community services and programs to ensure positive growth.
- Provide effective on the job training and post placement support to customers
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience working with individuals in the space of mental health, psychosocial recovery, disability, Youth Work, Community Services, Employment Services or a similar field.
- Proven performer in a role that requires innovation and delivers effective and efficient services
- High level communication skills and attention to detail with administrative tasks
- COVID-19 vaccination mandatory
Applicants must have the ability to complete a Police Check, hold a Working with Children Blue Card and have a current Driver’s Licence.
