Lead Advisor, Study Credit 

Brand, Partnerships and Business Development – Student Pathways

  • Continuing, full-time position
  • $84,516 to $92,899 per annum (HEO6)
  • Plus 17% employer superannuation
  • Salary packaging options are available
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum
  • Applicants must have appropriate Australian work rights for the duration of this position (UNE will not provide sponsorship for this position)

About the Role

The Lead Adviser, Study Credit provides specialist advice and expertise in relation to Student Pathways services relating to admission, study credit and enrolment for commencing and continuing students.  As a coach and thought leader within the Student Pathways team, the Lead Adviser, Study Credit contributes to the continual improvement of Student Pathways’ processes to positively affect student outcomes; participates in projects, assisting with planning the development of new and amended policies and procedures; ensures training and knowledge transfer for relevant processes is delivered and integrated with existing business processes and ensures the delivery of high level administrative services and support.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated organisational skills to thrive working in a dynamic and complex environment, exercising independence, initiative and judgement.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail as well as the proven ability to identify and analyse information to resolve complex problems will be essential.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop effective professional relationships, maintaining diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality. 
  • The ability to coordinate delivery of strategies and plans to support services to students and staff.
  • Leadership experience and demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating a broad range of administrative functions.

About the Division

The Brand, Partnerships and Business Development Division is responsible for promoting Brand UNE, enabling student recruitment (domestic and international), developing business partnerships and promoting corporate fund raising and philanthropy.

The Student Pathways team at UNE is responsible for: prospective student relationship management; managing and administering domestic admissions and credit applications; recruitment; and conversion activities for the University. The Student Pathways team is seeking a new Lead Advisor, Study Credit to join their dynamic team.
