Position Title: Lead Clinician Community Mental Health
Location: Swan Hill
Classification: Dependent on qualifications and experience
Salary per hour (exc. super): $43.68 – $51.76
Hours per fortnight: 64 – 80 hours (including monthly ADO for full-time)
Employment Status: Permanent full-time or permanent part-time
Your New Role
As a Community Mental Health Clinician, you will play a critical part in our multi-disciplinary community mental health team. You will provide community-based assessment, treatment and support to adults (25-65 years) who are experiencing complex mental health disorders. Our practice is family sensitive, so you’ll also ensure that families and carers are included and well-supported.
Based in our Swan Hill office, you’ll work closely with our friendly and welcoming team, to ensure that all of our patients receive high-quality care when they need it.
If you’re looking for flexibility, we’ve got you covered. This position is available full-time (80 hours per fortnight, with a monthly ADO) or part-time (64-76 hours per fortnight). Our service operates Monday to Friday, 08:30am-5:00pm. We can offer flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
About You
You might be a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Social Worker, ideally with experience and post-graduate qualifications in Mental Health.
If you have already completed a graduate year, but you’re still early in your clinical career, you will be well-supported to continue developing your skills in our caring team.
You’ll be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, underpinned by sound clinical knowledge and experience. While you’re managing your own case-load, you’ll also be willing to pitch in and contribute positively as part of a close-knit regional team. Great organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure you can stay on top of your busy and varied workload.
A driver’s licence is essential, as you will be required to travel regularly throughout our region.
