Your New Role

As a Lead Clinician, you will play a critical part in our multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health team.  We provide community-based treatment and support to adults (25-65 years) who are experiencing complex mental health disorders.

Your role includes psychiatric triage, intake, assessment, treatment and support for our patients.  Our practice is family sensitive, so you’ll also ensure that families and carers are included and well-supported.

This is a part time position, working two days per week (Monday’s are essential) with no nights or weekends required.  Based in our Kyneton office, you’ll work closely with our friendly and welcoming team, to ensure that all of our patients receive high-quality care when they need it.

About You

You might be a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker, ideally with experience and post-graduate qualifications in Mental Health.

If you have already completed a graduate year, but you’re still early in your clinical career, you will be well-supported to continue developing your skills in our caring team.

You’ll be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, underpinned by sound clinical knowledge and experience.  While you’re managing your own case-load, you’ll also be willing to pitch in and contribute positively as part of a close-knit regional team.  Great organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure you can stay on top of your busy and varied workload.

A driver’s licence is essential, as you will be required to travel regularly throughout our region.
