The Position

Position Title: Lead Clinician – Youth Community Mental Health
Classification: NP81-NP74, YB20-YB23, YC42-YC44
Salary per hour (exc. super): $42.84 – $54.26
Hours per fortnight: 64
Employment Status: Permanent part-Time
Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination 

  

Role Description

Service provision includes comprehensive assessment, outreach treatment and continuing care for young people aged 18 to 24yrs, and support and education to their carers, associated professionals and the wider community about the nature of mental illness and its treatment.

The Team

Bendigo Health Mental Health Services provides a range of public mental health services to residents of the Loddon Campaspe Southern Mallee area. Most mental illnesses first present in young people in their teens to mid-twenties. The Youth Community Mental Health Service enhances the capacity of Bendigo Health Care Group Mental Health Services to provide treatment to young people who have complex mental health disorders.
