National Access and Information Service (NAIS)
The National Access and Information Service (NAIS) team, provides cutting-edge service information for all EACH services nationwide. NAIS provides access to NDIS, and Aged Care funding sources, making an enormous difference in the lives of those with developmental delays and disabilities.

 

Job Description

  • Full-time 12-month position (maternity leave fill)
  • Work from our Ringwood office with hybrid working options available
  • Competitive salary (SACS) + 11% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

Working alongside the NAIS Team Leaders and Tier 1 & Tier 2 staff members you will perform the below responsibilities:

  • Undertaking complex psychosocial screenings, and providing referrals and limited brief intervention for customers accessing EACH mental health services.
  • Providing secondary consults for complex mental health, drug & alcohol enquiries.
  • Providing support and training to all NAIS team members with screening and assessments of complex clients (screening tools include K10, suicide risk assessments and other mental health assessment tools).
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with other Health service providers to advocate for and ensure continuity of care for clients, particularly those with complex and chronic conditions.

 

Qualifications

Along with a passion for supporting others, you will have:

  • Significant experience working with individuals from diverse and complex backgrounds (mental health, Family Violence, Substance misuse and suicide risk).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the referral pathways to internal/external mental health services.
  • Experience working in community health sector would be highly regarded including Psychosocial support services.

Mandatory Qualification/s, Competencies and/or Licences

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience.
