LiCBT Mental Health Clinician – Part Time (0.7FTE) – Port Augusta 

Country & Outback Health’s extensive primary mental health footprint extends throughout regional and remote South Australia. Our team is continuing to grow, and this exciting opportunity will give the right candidate the opportunity to make a difference within our communities.

About the role:

  • Design and deliver low intensity, client-centred, goal orientated cognitive behavioural therapy.
  • Be responsible for the delivery of overall individual client therapy, in accordance with organisational and program funding guidelines
  • Deliver quality mental health care working co-operatively within a multi-disciplinary team and with our service partners to maximise opportunities to identify innovative, co-ordinated solutions for clients
  • Have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment in our growing organisation
  • Deliver therapeutic services to clients with mild mental health disorders and from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications:

  • Hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in Counselling     or related discipline 
  • Or hold Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (LiCBT) certification
  • Or be working towards LiCBT certification, Counselling, Social Work or related tertiary qualification
  • National Police Check, Department of Human Services Child-Related and NDIS Worker Check Screenings
