About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Manager Mental Health to join our Youth Wellbeing and Accomodation team on a permanent full time basis at our beautiful West Perth central office.
This role will provide clinical leadership to a team of coordinators to ensure effective practises of case management, intervention and support to young people at risk of or currently experiencing mental health needs and/or complex life circumstances that can’t be managed in primary care.
About you
You’ll have strong leaderships skills and a passion for youth mental health. Along with this you’ll also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a Human Services field such as Psychology or Social Work is required
- Postgraduate qualification in Human services is desirable
- Professional registration with applicable association or board
- Experience working within the Mental Health sector
- Prior experience leading a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in strategic planning, evidence-based approaches, policy development and research
- Understanding of challenges in working with young people with complex needs
- Drivers Licence
- Current Working with Children Check
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
