As a Mediator you will provide holistic, supportive and client centred services to individuals and families experiencing separation, crisis or conflict. You will provide mediation and conflict resolution services on behalf of Centacare NENW.

About The Role
Working as part of our team some key responsibilities include but is not limited to:
- Provide mediation and conflict resolution support for individuals or families to help resolve disputes and develop parenting plans or mutual agreements.
- Conduct initial intake and assessments for clients to determine suitability for mediation.
- Provide Information and support to families and individuals seeking assistance with relationship difficulties.
- Support clients in referral pathways in accessing required services.
- Provide a holistic, person-centred and child-focused mediation service.
- Maintain caseloads and benchmarks at all times.

Essential Criteria
- Relevant Industry experience or qualifications.
- Knowledge and understanding of family dispute resolution processes and techniques.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, communication and written skills, including the ability to prepare documents, set goals and maintain a positive approach in working with families, individuals and groups to achieve these goals within an established timeframe.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute actively as a member of a practice team
- A satisfactory Working With Children Check and willingness to obtain National Police Records Check
- Current NSW drivers license and the ability to travel as past of the role.
