Men’s Behaviour Change Principal Facilitator – (ReVisioning) Thorne Harbour Health

JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Thorne Harbour Health is a community-controlled LGBTIQ+ organisation, governed by our members, and working for our sex, sexuality and gender diverse communities.

For 35 years as the Victorian AIDS Council (VAC), the organisation led the Victorian community’s response to HIV and AIDS. Our work has now moved beyond Victoria and Thorne Harbour Health is responding to a broad range of issues. Thorne Harbour Health aims to improve the health, social and emotional well-being of LGBTI communities and those living with or affected by HIV, with a particular emphasis on bringing the HIV and AIDS epidemic to an end.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is your opportunity to join a progressive organisation and dynamic team at Victoria’s LGBTIQ+ community-controlled health service.

Our family violence team is committed to transforming the lives of our clients and communities to build and support healthy non-violent relationships.

The role will be delivering high quality, evidence-based, behaviour change program and case management to clients from the LGBTIQ+ community and those living with HIV, who have used family violence. We are seeking an experienced, self-directed person to join our team of specialist family violence workers working at our Hoddle Street and St Kilda office.

With excellent clinical support and professional development opportunities, this will be a richly rewarding role for the right person. We offer generous salary packaging and a commitment to quality improvement and professional development.

Thorne Harbour Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
