Employment type: Permanent Full-time
Hours per fortnight: 80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO

About the role

Ballarat Health Services, proudly part of Grampians Health ? Ballarat Mental Health Services (BHS ? BMHS) is a dynamic Area Mental Health Service striving to provide the highest standards of treatment for the City of Ballarat and local surrounding communities, while maintaining a commitment to a continuously improving clinical environment.

We are currently in the process of undergoing significant service reform with the active involvement and engagement of all staff in the service. This provides an opportunity to be involved in contributing to the development of an innovative, contemporary and person centred Mental Health Service. In this position you will be responsible for the reporting and monitoring of the Mental Health Act (MHA) 2014 documentation to ensure that clinical practice standards are contemporary and complaint with MHA 2014 legislation. This role will also partake in auditing, review of breaches and will provide advice and strategic support to optimise compliance and minimise breaches within Grampians Health.

of the MHA and the associated legislative reporting requirements.
