Spirited Care are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team. We specialise in providing exceptional service and support to our NDIS participants.
To be successful in this position you will need to love working with people. We are looking for reliable people with excellent communication skills, patience and understanding. The ability to think creatively on your feet to solve problems is also important.
Duties will include:
- actively engage in meaningful activities with the participant
- create safe environments that foster belonging, recognise, and celebrate participant skills
- community, domestic supports and personal care
- provide fun and inspiring experiences for participants
Essential criteria:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), OR equivalent, OR relevant experience and willing to obtain a qualification
- Students studying Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Social Work and Teaching are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Card (ACT)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Drivers License and reliable car with comprehensive insurance
- National Police Check
Desirable and/or willingness to obtain:
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
