About the role:
Murray PHN have a rewarding opportunity for a qualified health and allied health professional with experience in Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), enabling them to have a direct influence on mental health and AOD services across Northern Victoria.
Reporting directly to the Director of Mental Health and Wellbeing, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Commissioning Lead is a key leadership position in the Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Team at Murray Primary Health Network (PHN) and is responsible for providing senior leadership for delegated staff and activities in the Mental Health and AOD Team.
The successful candidate will lead projects that support the commissioning activities of Murray PHN in the following program areas:
- Psychological Therapy Services,
- Clinical Care Coordination,
- Alcohol and Other Drugs,
- Child and Youth Mental Health,
- Psychosocial Recovery Services,
- Head to Health Hubs, and the
- Initial Assessment and Referral Decision Support Tool (IAR DST) training project.
Success in the role requires knowledge gained from a qualification in health, allied health, social policy or related field and extensive relevant project management experience.

- Maximum term Contract (up to 29 September 2023).
- Salary range – NC7 ($116,031 to $122,472).
- Location options Bendigo, Shepparton, Mildura or Albury.
