About us:

The Gladstone Integrated Service is located in Gladstone and consists of an Adult Mental Health Service, Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Step-Up-Step Down Unit and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service. The Gladstone Integrated Service provides specialised services for the population of Gladstone and the surrounding areas through a range of interventions including assessment, case management, therapeutic treatment, support, consultations and referrals.

About the role:

To provide a high-quality specialist mental health service to consumers with a mental illness or serious mental health problems, and their families and carers in keeping with professional, national and state requirements.

About you:

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Mandatory qualification/s: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and / or registration with the appropriate registration authority, including any necessary endorsements, to be provided to the employing service prior to the commencement of duty.
    • Social Work
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Psychology
  • A base level of knowledge, expertise and skill in delivery of adult mental health services including knowledge of the Queensland Mental Health Act 2016 and the National Standards for Mental Health Services.
  • A high level of effective interpersonal and therapeutic communication skills with the ability to effectively work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Ability or ability to rapidly acquire the skill to provide guidance to less experienced staff members and education to students in adult mental health.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $127,885 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary between $84,086 – $112,085 p.a.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
