Multiple opportunities are now available for Mental Health Clinicians to join the Eyre Community Mental Health Team in making a positive impact in the lives of people with mental health challenges.
By joining the Community Mental Health Team, you will have the opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of mental health services appropriate to the needs of consumers in the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN).
As a member of the multidisciplinary community team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, you will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, therapeutic/intervention and evaluation approaches including individual and family therapeutic approaches, group programs, health promotion and community development projects. For appointment at the AHP2 level, you will hold a recognised qualification within the Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology profession, and be eligible for membership of the relevant professional association. For appointment to the RN2 level, you will be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate along with a qualification in Mental Health practice. Demonstrating a commitment to providing consumer and family centred care within an evidence-based, recovery-orientated framework, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a mental health setting.
