MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN – CAMHS
THE ROLE
Salary: $80 – $100 per hour + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
*ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVEL INCLUDED*

Location: Hobart, Tasmania
Contract: 3 or 6 month flexible and ongoing contract
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Clinician role is an Allied Health role and is responsible for the provision of developmental mental health assessment, collaborative recovery planning and evidence-based intervention for a defined caseload of young people and their families and carers. The position will be supported through generous professional development and discipline specific supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provision of developmental mental health assessment
- Collaborative recovery planning with young people and families and carers
- Provision of evidence based mental health intervention
- Participation in Care Team meetings
- Provision of discipline specific assessment and intervention
- Provide a high-quality service to internal customers and consumers that reflects best practice and adds value
- Assist the organisation in achieving clinical effectiveness by providing the appropriate systems, information or services to clinical areas
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Social Worker or Registered Psychologist
- Eligibility for AASW, or AHPRA Registration
- Previous experience working within a CAMHS position
- Working With Children’s Check or willingness to obtain one
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate and relevant immunisation history
