JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

You will provide a high standard of clinical assessment, treatment and support to clients who are experiencing significant mental health difficulties and their families. Our multidisciplinary team provides a range of clinical and therapeutic interventions using the recovery-focused Strengths Model of Recovery-Orientated Practice. You may work across all parts of the Acute Response Service (ARS) which includes the Crisis, Triage, EDMH and MHaP (PACER)Teams.

Classifications for this position will range from:

  • OT/SW Grade 2 YB20 – YB23 or YC42 – YC45 ($84,614 – $97,266 per annum)
  • Psychologist Grade 2 PK1 – PK4 ($87,287 – $98,285 per annum)
  • RPN Grade 3 NP81 – NP74 ($95,543 – $107,231 per annum

Your Contribution

  • Eligible for registration with the relevant professional body
  • Registration with AHPRA (if applicable)
  • A current Victorian driver’s licence.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments including mental state assessment, risk assessment and plan appropriate interventions.
  • Knowledge and ability to provide Psychiatric Triage services.
  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

St. Vincent’s Mental Health Service (SVMHS) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara. We are committed to the development of a strong peer support workforce.
