Where you’ll be working
The picturesque and vibrant town of Deniliquin is situated in country NSW, close to the Victorian border. With a population of approximately 8,000 residents and growing, we are at the centre of Riverina sheep-station country and on the fringe of one of the world’s largest red gum forests. A network of forest trails offers an aquatic playground of water-skiing and wakeboarding along with bushwalking, camping and biking adventures. Deniliquin is 1 hour north of Echuca, 2 hours west of Albury and 3.5 hours from Melbourne.
About the Role
The Child and Adolescence Mental Health Clinician role involves the assessment, evidence-based treatment and case management of children and adolescents, who are referred to the service with psychological disorders and psychiatric illnesses. This can include behavioural disturbances and prodromal syndromes requiring early intervention. This position is based within a multidisciplinary community mental health team.
