Mental Health Clinician/Consultant (Central Highlands) EACH

About the Mental Health clinician role
Here at EACH we are looking for a Mental Health Clinician to join The Partners in Wellbeing – Small Business Wellbeing program within a collaborative and progressive Team of experienced Mental Health Clinicians.

You will work with and directly support communities and small businesses across the Central Highlands region affected by recent events including storms, fires and the pandemic, on a part-time (up to 4 days) capacity until 30 June 2023 (due to current funding).

The Central Highland region covers Daylesford, Ballarat, Kyneton, Gisborne, Ballan, Bacchus Marsh.

What you’ll be doing
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work on building relationships throughout the region to provide the following:

  • Working with affected business owners to provide 1:1 mental health support and referrals to relevant services including financial counselling, business advisors and psychosocial supports.
  • Developing links with other regional services, providing mental health promotion information and events, offering individual support to clients, and general wellbeing advice to bigger employers and community organisations.
  • Providing training to small groups, delivering workshops online and in person, and meeting with stakeholders, business owners and industry leaders as you
  • Delivering group and individual training and providing individual coaching and counselling sessions.
  • Conducting regular meetings via face to face and a virtual setting.

Who we’re looking for
Along with a passion for helping those within the community you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, allied health, or related field.
  • Experience in supporting individuals with high prevalence mental health disorders.
  • Familiarity with the challenges and rewards of small business.
  • Ideally, you will have a small business background that will assist you to support business owners who are experiencing an impact on their mental health and wellbeing.
  • Confidence in public speaking to groups regarding mental health and wellbeing.

You will be a part of the Partners in Wellbeing – Small Business Wellbeing program which is a collaborative, progressive, newly formed program and Team of experienced Mental Health Professionals focused on the mental health and wellbeing needs of small business owners.
