The Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our a leading not for profit organisation in Tasmania to find a passionate and experienced Mental Health Clinician to join a supportive Allied Health Team to support clients in the North West Location of Tasmania.
The Mental Health Clinician sits within the clinical team to deliver evidence based psychological treatment services for adult clients, majority of whom will be residents of aged care facilities. In addition to clinical work this position includes local level program promotion, networking, and stakeholder engagement.

The Location
North West Tasmania primarily based in Devonport with work across the LGAs including: Burnie, Circular Head; Devonport, Kentish, King Island; Latrobe, Waratah-Wynyard and West Coast.
The Benefits
- Salary Package of $86,700 + Super + Salary Sacrifice P.A
- Salary Sacrifice available (additional $15,895 P.A)
About You
- Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupation Therapy, Counselling or Nursing.
- Current registration with AHPRA, AASW or PACFA
- Ability to manage a demanding workload and manage own time according to priority
- Demonstrated skills in comprehensive assessment, care planning and counselling
- Work experience providing evidenced based psychological treatment services for people with mild to moderate mental illness
- Experience working with older people
- Current Drivers Licence
- Evidence of Covid Vaccinations including booster
- Willingness to undertake probity checks if successful including National Police check, Working with vulnerable people card.
