About the role
The Case Manager will work within the Box Hill Community Team at Eastern Health ICYMHS, located in central Box Hill. EH ICYMHS works with children and young people, aged 0 – 25 years, with a serious mental health illness and their families within a recovery oriented framework. The multi-disciplinary community team aims to provide high quality mental health assessment, case management, and clinical treatment and interventions.
The Case Manager will have clinical experience in mental health services or similar areas and have a commitment to ongoing professional development and service delivery. The position will be part of a high quality service that is responsive to the needs of clients within the team. The position is supported by clinical, operational, and discipline specific supervision, ongoing professional development, and active participation in team and service planning and development.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Clinical experience and/or postgraduate training in child and adolescent mental health or an allied field. This includes assessment, treatment, and consultation with individual clients and their families as well as broader systemic and community interventions.
- Current registration with AHPRA (OT, Psychology, RPN) and, for Social Work, eligible to join the AASW.
- Post Graduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology for psychologists.
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
