The Role
Options exist to work in full-time or part-time capacity (minimum 0.6FTE), based in Camberwell, providing targeted psychological therapies for people experiencing mental ill-health. You will be part of the Epworth Clinic Allied Health team and report to the Mental Health Program Manager.
You will make an impact by:
- Providing evidence-based practice for group and individual therapy, within inpatient, outpatient and private practice settings.
- Delivering best practice mental health interventions, assessment and interventions to Epworth clients in individual and group settings.
- Providing clinical supervision to students.
To be successful in this role…
You are a mental health clinician with experience in delivering mental health interventions and are passionate about recovery orientated mental health service provision. Flexible and proactive in your approach, you are a self-starter who enjoys autonomy in managing your day to day caseload whilst working in a supportive environment.
You will have
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Clinical Psychology
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration or eligibility for AASW
- Have current Medicare provider number (or be eligible)
- Previous experience in the provision of psychological therapies in a clinical setting (group and individual)
- Experience in delivering DBT, ACT, CBT and Mindfulness
- Experience in working with eating disordered and/or older aged patients is highly desirable
