Mental Health Clinician (Evolve Child Protection) Mackay Hospital and Health Service

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your opportunity

To provide mental health services in the areas of assessment, intervention, treatment planning and evaluation, training and education, supervision and research, within the Evolve Therapeutic Services Team.  This team is part of an interagency response to the therapeutic and behaviour support needs of children and young people in the care of the Department of Child Safety with severe psychological and behavioural problems.

The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
