Mental Health Clinician – EVOLVE (Psych, SW, OT) Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service

About us:

Evolve Therapeutic Services is one of four Child and Youth Services teams, also including the Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service, and Youth Alcohol and Other Drugs service.

About the role:

  • Assessment and formulation of timely and appropriate treatment interventions, consistent with current best practice within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Utilise a range of therapeutic modalities and interventions including attachment-trauma focused work with children, families, and interagency systems.
  • Undertake routine tasks involving individual assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, multidisciplinary consultation, liaison with referring agents, discharge planning and evaluation of care using appropriate outcome and data measurement systems.
  • Provide referral, liaison, and interagency collaborative care planning, along with advocacy for consumers and their families/carers.

About you:

  • Psychology: The successful applicant must possess a four-year degree in Psychology (Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an accredited tertiary institution. Full Registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate or eligibility to be provisionally registered.
  • Occupational Therapy: The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Occupational Therapy. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is mandatory.
  • Social Work: The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Social Work as well as eligibility for full membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

Total remuneration value of up to $128,706 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary between $3,223.0 – $4,323.80 p.f.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
