JOB DESCRIPTION

 Mental Health Clinician – Busselton and / or Bunbury

0.5 FTE permanent with additional 0.4 FTE available until the end of June 2024. 

(Part time or job share options will also be considered)

We are offering the opportunity to join our southwest Mental Health Clinical Team. GP down south has strong clinical governance support and is accredited against the National Mental Health Standards. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team of experienced mental health professionals with professional Clinical Manager support.
We offer 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata), external clinical supervision allowance and generous professional development opportunities. As a not for profit, you can also access additional benefits through salary packaging.

About the role:
We are searching for a person/s who is passionate about empowering others to improve their mental health and wellbeing, is able to work autonomously, as well as working with and contributing towards our clinical team. 

You will be responsible for:
· provision of clinical assessment
· evidence based psychological intervention therapies
· care co-ordination and support to clients experiencing mental health issues via face to face and / or telehealth.

 

You must also hold a minimum qualification of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the field of mental health post-graduation.
