Mental Health Clinician
Permanent Part-time & Casual Opportunities

Greenslopes Private Hospital is seeking experienced Mental Health Clinicians to join our team on a permanent part-time basis and additional candidates on a casual basis.

 

About the Role

Our Ramsay Health Plus team is a multidisciplinary Allied Health team that provides care to both inpatients and day patients.  This team consists of highly skilled Allied Health professionals including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Dieticians, Speech Pathologists, and Exercise Physiologists.

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Clinicians (Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Psychologist) to join our team, to provide clinical services in a growing and successful private hospital. This specialty includes acute inpatient care and group facilitation within a veterans’ mental health unit, including an outpatient trauma recovery program. 

 

About You

To be successful you will be an experienced Mental Health Clinician (either a Psychologist, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, or Mental Health Occupational Therapist).  You will have a passion for trauma-informed care and a high standard of professional practice. 

You will also demonstrate:

  • Current relevant registration (with AHPRA or the AASW)
  • Clinical experience in mental health and/or acute hospital setting
  • Highly developed assessment and intervention skills 
  • Clinical skills and experience in providing evidence-based treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), alcohol and other substances, mood and anxiety disorders, through individual and group therapy sessions
  • Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients and customers
  • Accurate and timely completion of administration and documentation requirements

Desirable Criteria:

  • Post-graduate qualification
  • Specialised knowledge of the needs of the veteran community and mental health legislation
  • Group facilitation skills

Requirements
