Applications are invited for a Credentialed Mental Health Social Worker, Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Inglewood and Districts Health Service. We are seeking applicants who have an understanding and experience in Psychological Therapy and Clinical Care Coordination. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, exhibit ethical and professional responsibility, and are keen to further develop clinical skills in a supportive and innovative work environment.
This role will provide Primary Mental health Services to a range of clients across the Loddon Shire. The clinician will ideally have a solid understanding of the health service environment and be skilled at working in a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality services and facilitate positive educational and social experiences to support clients.
- Collaborate with a range of services and the community to ensure a co-ordinated response to client’s recovery goals.
- Plan and deliver programs that aid clients to build their skills and focus on recovery.
- Assist clients to build networks with their families and community services.
- Work autonomously and competently across a variety of digital platforms.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Mental Health, Nurse, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other health-related field.
- Expertise in working with people with mental health issues, complex needs and interacting with families and carers.
- Proven ability to implement a recovery-oriented framework.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Community Services sector and ability to build strong relationships with agencies, clinical providers and key stakeholders.
