About the Role
- Deliver competent level Social Work/Occupational Therapy/Psychology clinical services to consumers with complex mental health and alcohol and other drug treatment needs based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with professional practice, ethical and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate consumer focused outcomes.
- Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of clinical practices, procedures and protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities within the Mental Health Service to continually improve consumer care.
- Provide Social Work/Occupational Therapy/Psychology advice and education to the multidisciplinary team, operational supervisors, and key stakeholders regarding professional standards and clinical service development.
- Exercise increasingly independent clinical judgement and core problem solving skills and appropriate risk management strategies to a complex caseload with supervision from a more senior clinician, commensurate with level of knowledge and clinical expertise.
