Working in Healthcare has never been more important or meaningful
Our Journey
Dandenong Hospital Outreach Post-suicidal Engagement (HOPE) is a psychosocial support service for people at significant risk of suicide. The program at Dandenong is run in partnership with Better Place Australia (BPA). The initiative aims to provide follow-up care and support for people and their families/carers, who traditionally would not have received such intervention immediately after hospital discharge. Our aim is to promote self-efficacy, independence and social inclusion with all the individuals we support. Working in our diverse geographical area, you will enjoy the challenges of working with the complexities of mental health and making a positive difference every day. You will work closely with a range of mental health services and community supports, to effectively co-ordinate client care and promote recovery.
