Mental Health Clinician (part-time or full time)
Salary Range: $32.54 – 34.90 per hour
Graceville Centre is based in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast and provides support to individuals living with a disability and/or mental illness. All Graceville services are conducted by working with individuals in a strength based and recovery focused framework. Graceville Centre operates nine programs that provide support to clients either on site or in their own homes, across the entire Sunshine Coast region.

About the role
We are currently seeking a Mental Health Clinician for either a part-time (0.8 or 0.9 FTE) or full-time position. The role will operate during business hours Monday to Friday. Hours and days can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
The Mental Health Clinician (MHC) has the responsibility of coordinating, facilitating and integrating mental health treatment, care and support, which is tailored to meet the specific needs of individual clients. The MHC will work with other providers to ensure holistic coordinated care, connecting clients to core services which will support the recovery orientated plan of implementation for people with severe, persistent and enduring mental illness.
The successful applicant will have one of the following:
- Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health/Mental Health Worker.
- Social Worker (Mental Health registration with the AASW is desirable)
Critical to success in the role:
- Previous experience working with people who are living with a severe mental illness.
- Knowledge and experience of evidence based therapeutic frameworks and approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder involvement.
- Understanding of primary care settings and mental health stepped care approaches.
- High level interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
