Where you’ll be working
This role is a based in Brookvale Community Health Center assisting consumers with complex and enduring mental health conditions.
What you’ll be doing

Each person’s unique journey of recovery will be supported by mental health drug and alcohol services in a way that fosters hope, purpose and resilience.
MHDA Statement of Intention
The intention of the NSLHD MHDA is to provide recovery-oriented, trauma informed services that are guided by evidence based practices and collaboration.
Working a rotating roster from 08.00 – 22.00, providing excellent standard of care and assessment in the community, including medication concordance, MSE and care coordination.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrate these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or eligibility for membership with AASW.
- Demonstrated ability of putting people who experience mental health issues first and at the centre of practice and service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to support personal recovery and deliver recovery focused, evidence based interventions
- Demonstrated ability to uphold the human rights of people experiencing mental health issues and challenging stigma and discrimination; advocating to address the poor and unequal living circumstances that adversely impact on recovery
- A High level of written and verbal communication skills promoting a culture and language of hope and optimism
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
