The Mental Health Clinical provides, as part of the Specialist Older Persons Mental Health Service, community based intervention and consultation for older people who have mental health problems, or who may be at high risk of developing mental health problems. This service also provides intervention and consultation for Residential Aged Care Facilities.
If you have:
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of mental services in a community setting as well as experience in the specialist field of psychogeriatric, including dementias and the Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia.
- Clinical problem-solving skills, current clinical knowledge, the ability to work with complex presentations and as an independent clinician
- Knowledge of aged care services available both in NSW and QLD.
