About the Role

  • Part Time Permanent Position Available (0.8 FTE)
  • Classification: Nurses Award 2020 Level 2 with a salary range of $93,168 – $97,891 pro rata per annum or Health Professional & Support Services Award 2020 Level 2 with a salary range of $88,406 – $98,899 pro rata per annum + Superannuation

  • Location: Psychological Therapies Program, Morphett Vale Southern Wellbeing Hub SA.

About your new role

  • The Southern Wellbeing Psychological Therapies programs support clients presenting with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. Clients can be referred by GPs or community services for brief to moderate term focussed-psychological therapy under a current Mental Health Treatment Plan. The role will include the following:
  • Comprehensive mental health assessments, formulations, and treatment planning
  • Delivery of focussed psychological strategies and / or referral on to other clinicians in Links to Wellbeing stepped care programs
  • Liaison with the referrer and other agencies as appropriate, and discharge planning
  • Utilising Clinical Reviews with psychiatrist/clinical lead and team to improve quality of care and outcomes for clients.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Formal tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Mental Health Nursing
  • Accredited registration with a professional governing body such as AHRPA, ACA, AASW

 

What the role requires:

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) – disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check – required before commencement of work
  • Current AHPRA or AASW registration
  • Current drivers licence
  • Australian working rights
