Mental Health Clinician (Psychologist or Social Worker) – headspace Bathurst Marathon Health

We are looking for a Mental Health Clinician (Provisional Psychologist, Registered Psychologist, or Social Worker) to join our headspace team in Bathurst, NSW. The vacancy is Full Time, 75 hours per fortnight, and will be ongoing.

The Mental Health Clinician role:

  • Assists in the delivery of integrated primary mental health services to young people aged 12-25
  • Uses evidence-based approaches to deliver mental health assessment, formulation, care coordination and intervention
  • Develops individualised treatment plans to implement appropriate intervention strategies
  • Works in a progressive workplace that values inclusion, innovation & employee growth

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work or other mental health accredited allied health discipline
  • Registration/membership with the relevant board or association (eg. AHPRA, AASW)
  • Advanced clinical skills in a range of mental health service settings
  • Experience in the assessment and delivery of a range of treatments relevant to mental health
  • Ability to engage and work with a range of clients, including those from diverse backgrounds
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills
  • Computer literacy and experience with report writing and electronic client information management systems.
