Serving South Australia and the Northern Territory, the team at RFDS Central Operations exists to support happier and healthier Australians, no matter where they live, work or play.

We continually invest in our people, infrastructure, and technology to improve our patient-centred care.

About this Opportunity

Based out of Alice Springs, our Mental Health team provides greater access to services in remote communities to contribute to improvements in mental health.  Our dedicated Clinicians deliver a stepped mental health service that is evidence based and culturally safe in the context of remote Aboriginal communities in Central Australia.

About You

Your practice is guided by the principles of empowerment and self-determination to deliver a community-led, strengths-based approach in service provision that enables Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to move beyond surviving to thriving.  You value First Nations cultures, framing your work through a cultural lens.

You will be an AHPRA registered qualified Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist, or an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker.

Why join us?

As part of our team, you can expect to be provided with challenging, interesting work and be supported to achieve your best.  The RFDS offers attractive remuneration including salary packaging benefits, six weeks’ annual leave, and relocation assistance (conditions apply).  We offer a supportive environment where our people are valued and professional development is encouraged.
