About this Opportunity

Based out of Alice Springs, our Mental Health team provides greater access to services in remote communities to contribute to improvements in mental health.  Our dedicated Clinicians deliver a stepped mental health service that is evidence based and culturally safe in the context of remote Aboriginal communities in Central Australia.

About You

Your focus on “closing the gap” in the health and life expectancies of Indigenous peoples is evident in your passion for working in partnership to improve community mental health. Your practice is guided by the principles of empowerment and self-determination to deliver a community-led, strengths-based approach in service provision that enables Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to move beyond surviving to thriving.  You value First Nations cultures, framing your work through a cultural lens.

You will be an AHPRA registered qualified Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist, or an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
